CONNIE BISSEN, PASTOR
Connie Bissen focuses on reaching people locally and globally that are trapped in areas of injustice. She has held positions on staff at Lifegate Church over the past several years as an Executive Pastor and Outreach Pastor. Prior to that she lived in Latin America as a global worker for Lifegate Church for eight years. She has been actively involved at Lifegate for more than 30 years as a volunteer, global worker and employee. Connie earned her Masters Degree in Global Leadership at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California. These studies combined with her extensive travel and life experience have given her a unique perspective on equipping leaders in the Lifegate movement. One of her greatest passions is to mentor and help raise up the next generation in Omaha and around the globe. She loves to be outdoors on a golf course, in a boat or on a trail (hiking or biking). Her ministry calling — experiencing different cultures, foods and languages all while hearing about God’s transforming power in people’s lives — this is one of her personal joys, and she loves seeing lives changed for the Kingdom of God.
Kraig J Williams, SVP – Commercial Real Estate at Great Western Bank (recently acquired by First Interstate Bank out of Billings Montana). Lending focus includes all aspects of Commercial Real Estate finance, which is supported by 35 + years’ experience in financial services industry. Outside hobbies & interests consist of fishing, hunting, and fun travel to Canada and Mexico on an annual basis for family trips. Every several years or so, we take a mission trip to Europe or the Middle East with Lifegate Church. My wife and I have 8 daughters, of which only 1 resides in Omaha (i.e., naturally she is my wife’s favorite because she did not move away). The rest live in Dallas, TX; Madison, WI; New Haven, CT; Philadelphia, PA; and Oakland, CA. We try to see them and our five grandchildren (i.e., two 12-year old boys, one 2-year old boy, one 2-year old girl, and one 1-month old girl) as often as possible. Serving on local community boards is very important, as well having served on numerous boards over the years in Omaha, and currently serving on the Hope Center for Kids, Rejuvenating Women, and YMCA boards
AIMEE LOWE, ATTY
Before forming Lowe Legal Group, PC LLO, Aimee clerked for the Nebraska Court of Appeals. After her clerkship, she joined an Iowa based law firm as an associate before becoming an equity shareholder. She eventually relocated her practice to Omaha, where she worked with an executive team as in-house counsel for a multi-location company. She has since been a partner with an Omaha based law firm and served as an adjunct for Creighton School of Law.
She is an honors graduate of the Creighton University School of Law, graduating cum laude, and a recipient of the Silver Quill Award, seven CALI Excellence for the future awards, winner of the Creighton School of Law Intramural Moot Court Competition, and competitor in other moot court and trial competitions.
Aimee Lowe is licensed in Iowa and Nebraska state and federal courts, has served as local counsel for numerous west and east coast firms, has argued before the Iowa Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, has negotiated hundreds of transactions, litigated cases from start to finish in Iowa and Nebraska, and has handled over $1 billion in transactions. She is a true strategist, assessor of risk, and fierce advocate.
She is a frequent speaker on all matters legal including business succession planning, negotiations, real estate, resilience, leadership, faith, and debt-reduction topics.
Scott Garner is Senior Vice President and Global Controller for Yahoo. Scott is a CPA with over 27 years accounting and financial reporting experience. He specializes in accounting and financial reporting for public companies and has held leadership roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Charles Schwab, AltaVista, Overture, Verizon Media and Yahoo. He is a graduate of San Jose State University.
Born and raised in the Midwest Jessica found her calling in life when she was 13 years old on a church mission trip in the inner-city of Brooklyn, New York. For the past two decades she has worked domestically and internationally in nonprofit empowering youth in foster care, areas of mental health and human trafficking. She has first-hand experience being a therapeutic foster parent for children that experienced severe neglect, abuse or human trafficking. Jessica has been a guest speaker in regards to aftercare on the Glenn Beck show, the United Nations held in Salt Lake City, the Huntsman School of Business Leadership Series, the North Carolina Human Trafficking Education Seminar, interviewed on the It’s a Penalty Campaign, as well as several news outlets and podcasts.
Jessica has a strong belief that there is always hope for everyone and sometimes it just takes one person pouring into another that will be forever life-changing. She works with many survivors every week and they constantly inspire her to live with strength, passion and love.
Jessica double-majored in college in Biblical Studies and Education at Multnomah University. She also completed the Arts Bridge Scholar program at the University of Utah, has been trained in NLP, lived in Africa, and was certified in the Teaching Family Model. In 2020 she completed a Masters degree in Global Development and Justice from Multnomah University. When she’s not working she loves being outdoors hiking, rock-climbing and of course eating frozen yogurt along the way.
Derek Oden was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. A graduate of Roncalli Catholic High School’s Class of 2014, Derek then went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Between 2013 and 2022, he has worked in various capacities in Nebraska politics including in his current role as Campaign Manager for Congressman Bacon’s 2022 re-election campaign. Derek came to Christ in 2014 and currently attends Citylight Church in Omaha.
SHANNON PROSOSKI, ATTY
Originally from the Black Hills of South Dakota, Shannon moved to Nebraska to attend undergraduate school at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She then continued her education by attending the Creighton University School Law School. Following graduation, Shannon married her husband, John, and together they are raising five beautiful children who are active in sports, music, school, and their church. In addition to driving the children to their activities and cheering for them, Shannon serves on the Marian Booster Club Executive Team, where she helps organize fundraisers and school spirit events. Shannon is a member of the Nebraska and Illinois Bar Associations, and has been practicing law in the Omaha, Nebraska area for approximately twenty-one years, with a speciality in juvenile court practice. She has fiercely advocated for parents and children before the juvenile court and the Nebraska Court of Appeals as defense counsel or as the guardian ad litem to help facilitate the rehabilitation of youth and reunification of families that have been involved in the juvenile court system.
Currently, Shannon is serving as an executive board member as Secretary of the Guardian ad Litem Project, Inc., a non-profit organization focused on providing education, guidance, and mentoring for attorneys fulfilling their roles as guardians ad litem for children involved in juvenile court. Shannon brings her passion for advocacy and her own walk in faith to help fulfill her calling to serve on the Rejuvenating Women Board of Directors.
Tim Dunning, Retired Sheriff
Tim has been the Douglas County Sheriff for the past 26 years and has been in Law Enforcement since 1971. Tim & Sue Dunning have been married for 49 years and have 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
Tim is past President of the Nebraska Sheriff’s Association and past President of the Metro Chiefs Association. He serves as Commissioner for the Commission on Accreditation Law Enforcement Agencies. Tim is past Chair of the Domestic Violence Coordinating Council.. Tim is a Member of the Governor’s Task Force on Human Trafficking and an Advisory Board Member of Attorney General’s Task Force on Human Trafficking. Tim serves as a Board Member of Coalition on Human Trafficking.
Paige is a native to the Omaha area as she grew up in the Elkhorn community. Paige left Omaha in 2001 in order to attend college at Baylor University where she received her undergraduate degree in Social Work. She then continued her education at Kansas University, receiving a
Master of Social Work degree. After graduate school, Paige lived in Kansas City where she met her husband, Brian. Paige worked as a school social worker in Kansas for seven years, before she and Brian decided to move to Omaha to be near family. Since returning to Omaha, Paige has been an active volunteer in the community. Currently, Paige serves on
the board at QLI, is a member of the Development Committee for Project Harmony, and is a Sustainer for the Junior League of Omaha. She also volunteers at her church and her children’s school. Previously, Paige has participated in fundraisers and been a member on guild boards for Children’s Hospital, Habitat for Humanity, the Rose Theater, and Lauritzen Gardens. Paige is passionate about giving back to her community, spending time with her family and friends, hanging out with her kids, and growing in her relationship with Jesus.
