CONNIE BISSEN PASTOR

CONNIE BISSEN, PASTOR
Board Chair

Connie Bissen focuses on reaching people locally and globally that are trapped in areas of injustice. She has held positions on staff at Lifegate Church over the past several years as an Executive Pastor and Outreach Pastor. Prior to that she lived in Latin America as a global worker for Lifegate Church for eight years. She has been actively involved at Lifegate for more than 30 years as a volunteer, global worker and employee. Connie earned her Masters Degree in Global Leadership at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California. These studies combined with her extensive travel and life experience have given her a unique perspective on equipping leaders in the Lifegate movement. One of her greatest passions is to mentor and help raise up the next generation in Omaha and around the globe. She loves to be outdoors on a golf course, in a boat or on a trail (hiking or biking). Her ministry calling — experiencing different cultures, foods and languages all while hearing about God’s transforming power in people’s lives — this is one of her personal joys, and she loves seeing lives changed for the Kingdom of God.
